Four frameworks. Same catalog. One translation layer.
Every Grammaropolis workbook is aligned to four state and national frameworks. The same content unit (a chapter on adjective-noun modification, a lesson on subject-verb agreement, a word-study spread on Greek roots) maps to a different standard code in each one. The explorer handles the translation. This page summarizes what each framework expects and how the Grammaropolis catalog maps to it.
Adoption
Adopted in 41 states plus DC. The default ELA framework most states reference, with state-specific extensions.
Structure
Anchored to College and Career Readiness anchor standards, with grade-level versions of each. Strands: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, Language.
Grammaropolis coverage
The Language strand maps directly to Grammaropolis sub-brand structure: conventions of standard English (Parts of Speech, Punctuation), knowledge of language (Sentence Factory), vocabulary acquisition and use (Wonderful Words).
Adoption
Texas state framework. Distinct from CCSS in sequencing, depth expectations, and the structure of the strands at each grade.
Structure
Organized into strands per grade. The ELA TEKS revision (2017, in effect since 2019-2020) reorganized the framework into Foundational Language Skills, Comprehension, Response, Multiple Genres, Author's Purpose and Craft, Composition, and Inquiry and Research.
Grammaropolis coverage
Grammaropolis content concentrates in Foundational Language Skills (Parts of Speech, Punctuation), Author's Purpose and Craft (Sentence Factory, Wonderful Words), and Composition (Writing Company).
Adoption
Florida's Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking. Adopted in 2020, replacing Florida's previous Common Core implementation.
Structure
Reorganizes the ELA framework around four expectations: Foundational Skills, Reading, Communication, and Vocabulary. The Communication expectation absorbs writing, speaking, and listening; Vocabulary is elevated to a parallel expectation rather than nested under Language.
Grammaropolis coverage
The Vocabulary elevation matches Grammaropolis's sub-brand treatment of Wonderful Words as a parallel-skill department. Foundational Skills and Communication absorb Parts of Speech, Punctuation, Sentence Factory, and Writing Company.
Adoption
New York's revision of its Common Core implementation, adopted 2017. Maintains the CCSS spine with state-specific clarifications and additions.
Structure
Strands match CCSS (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, Language) with grade-level expectations refined for clarity. The Language strand retains the conventions, knowledge, and vocabulary structure of CCSS.
Grammaropolis coverage
Coverage mirrors CCSS coverage, with NY-specific clarifications applied where the state framework adds detail beyond the CCSS anchor.
